The Invitation Process


Investment

Every inquiry will have a unique pricing. The budget, quantities, and add-ons will be considered when creating a quote. Custom invitations start at a minimum of $1,400.00. Semi-custom clients spend $600.00 for 100 invitations before add-ons.

When quoted for Save the Dates, that includes the Save the Date card, Envelope, + Envelope printing in color or black ink.

When quoted for Wedding Invitation Suites, that is for a 4 piece suite, which includes the invitation, details, response card, response card envelope and main envelope + envelope printing.

All clients can opt to do an online rsvp instead of a traditional rsvp.

Any embellishment items, such as, wax seals, belly bands, envelope liners, etc. will be added on in addition to their quote.

A 50% retainer fee is required at time of booking to save your date on our calendar. The remaining 50% is due before wedding invitations are sent to the printer.

If you wish to book any day-of items, these are quoted separately and paid in full at time of booking of this service.


Reserving your Date

Once we receive your intake form we will schedule a call to go over all of your wedding stationery needs. We will send you a proposal to review. Once you are ready to move forward you will be required a retainer fee of 50% of the project (100% for day-of items), which will reserve your date in our calendar.


Timeline

Once you have reserved your date with us we will create your unique timeline. This will create deadlines we need to follow to stay on track for your wedding stationery. Timelines are created based on the client’s desired mail date and our calendar.

We are typically booked 9-12 months in advance, so we always recommend reaching out as soon as possible.

If you are a rush order and would still like to inquire you are welcome to do so to see if we have time remaining in our calendar to take on additional work at that time.

Our custom process for invitations typically starts about 16-17 weeks before the wedding date. This allows for plenty of design, printing, and assembly time.

Assembly & Mailing

Our custom invitations are handled from start to finish at The Lettering Grove. Your addresses will be digitally printed or can be upgraded to calligraphy. We then handle the postage and dropping them in the mail for you. If you wish to have them directly mailed to you, please let us know in advance.

Our semi-custom invitations are printed and then packaged for the clients to assemble and mail out on their own. Some clients choose to add-on assembly and envelope printing for the ease of having it completed before mailed out.
